You see it all around – the remnants of our Modern Society.  It collects in landfills, it collects on the sides of streets, it collects in our own homes.

In the first of this series, I explore some of this digital analog waste I found very close to home.  Waste is beautiful, in its own way.  The photos are best viewed on my Flickr site:

Digital Analog Waste 1

My favorite of this first series is of a circa 1980’s television tube.  The copper wiring at the bottom is interesting, and I love how they used primary colors for the wiring.

Sunset at the Park

This was a great evening at Riverhills Park down the road.  I was able to get a few good captures in while the sun peeked out behind the clouds.  Having the river right down the road is great, since you get to see how the sun sets in different places throughout the year.  The full set is on my Flickr site here:

Slow Your Roll

My favorite of the set is of a weed tree growing right by the river.  Cool and calming, which is exactly what it felt like that night.

Apparently Flickr will be disabling this share option next week, just as I figured out how to use it!

This is a great city park almost within walking distance. It was the perfect place to get acquainted with my new Nikon D800E, and experiment using DX lenses with the 5:4 crop mode.
